There’s been several brazen daytime muggings in my hometown of NYC lately where the victims were withdrawing money from crowded ATMs. I’m talkin’ during rush hour…with lots of people in the ATM…in upscale areas. The mugger says he has a gun (which is never seen) and has only targeted women so far.
The majority of criminals don’t commit crimes in crowded areas with lots of security cameras around because the likelihood of getting caught is high. The cameras got great pictures of this mugger and I believe it won’t be long before he’s behind bars (for a short while).
